Are there any JSF component libraries that generate semantic and cross-browser HTML markup?

I use RichFaces as requested by the client, but its markup (and JSF controls) generates a terrible mess of nested tables. Are there any control libraries that generate better markup? AJAX support is a huge plus!

There is ICEFaces that provides more semantic support than RichFaces. You can also try the Nitobi suite, which also provides a similar kind of solution. If you are not satisfied with any of them, I suggest writing your own part that extends the facets of Sun
