What collaboration tools are effective for working with non-technical people?

For programmers working in the corporate environment and outside the start-up world, there is a wide range of non-technical people who are important stakeholders in the development process. These include, for example, other functions within the company, such as marketing, finance and legal services, as well as clients and other persons outside the company.

The point of this question is not the โ€œcare and nourishmentโ€ of these groups, but simply about what tools were found to facilitate cooperation and the necessary interaction?
