Search by hash?

I came up with a search engine idea that now indexes web elements like other search engines but only stores the file name, url and hash of the content.

Thus, it would be easy to find objects on the Internet if you already had them and did not know where they came from or wanted to know all the places where something appeared.

More useful for non-text elements such as images, executables, and archives.

I was wondering if there is anything like that?

Check out the wikipedia page for location-sensitive hashing . There's also a nice page posted in the MIT study .
