Publishing Flash Video Streaming

What options should I publish Flash videos from webcams other than Adobe Flash Media Server and Red5? I would prefer a solution in .NET, Python or PHP, but could not find anything.

In addition to another commercial product such as Wowza Media Server , you can go with a CDN (Content Delivery Network) such as Limelight Networks or Voxel.net . You might even be able to find a local hosting provider that will serve the Live Flash video for you.

(Live flash videos are a non-trivial thing to do, so options are a bit limited.)

I mainly used FluorineFX and WebORB in Flex business applications. I don't think fluoride supports streaming video, but WebORB definitely does. However, my colleague searched for a while to get him to work with AS2 and failed. Red5 was launched with AS2 as soon as possible. With AS3, there is a lot of documentation from the WebORB site. The advantage of WebORB is its support for .NET, Java, PHP, and Ruby. Silverlight will also be supported, so it will be great!
