Question

What are the best practices for setting up a new instance of the TFS 2008 Workgroup?

In particular, the restrictions are as follows:

• Must be installed on an existing 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008
• TFS Application Level 32-bit Only

Should I install SQL Server 2008, Sharepoint and the application level in a virtual instance of Windows Server 2008 or 2003 (I already use Hyper-V) or split the database layers on the host OS and application level in a virtual machine?

Edit: Apparently layer separation is not recommended
