GUI tool for quick development?

I want to write a front-end for an application written in C / C ++.

I am using Solaris 10 and plan to port the application to other architectures (Windows first).

I would recommend taking a look at wxWidgets to provide some cross-platform platform user interface widgets that will work on Solaris and Windows.

Qt 4 is the best tool for this job. If you want to work with other languages, it also has bindings for Java and Python
