Is it worth studying the dialect of the congregation?

My goals are focused on developing software applications and, possibly, developing web applications, but most likely on desktop applications. I'm starting to get to know C / C ++ better, but should I go much lower than this to the assembly? Or will I not have benefits for my long-term goals?

You probably won't be of much use if you don't have a direct application for this. If you intend to gain general knowledge, C / C ++ is a great place to start.

Nevertheless, the problems that arise in the assembly are very interesting, and quite different thinking is required to achieve this.

This can help you give you tips on how to write optimized code in other languages. Many of them, however, have already been made by modern compilers, so I would suggest that if you are interested in what is going on inside this black box.
