Experience Using ASP.NET MVC Framework

I am wondering that people use the ASP.NET MVC Framework? In particular, I am looking for feedback on the type of experience with which people use the framework.

What do people use for their viewing engine? How about a db layer, NHibernate, LINQ to SQL, or something else?

I know that stackoverflow uses MVC, so please tell this site.

Thank.

Why choose NHibernate over anything else? I am not against NHibernate, just interested in rational.

I was recently included in MVC and Linq in Sql for Asp.Net. I am still learning both, and I really enjoy both of them. There are quite a few screens at http://www.asp.net/learn/ .

WebForms, once mastered, are great ... They just take a very long time to learn all the tricks.

Why choose NHibernate over anything else?

This is a very powerful tool, and it is (relatively) easy to learn. This eliminates all the monotony and repeatability of the manual implementation of object-relational matching.
