How to release a web application

I am a broken college student. I created a small web application in PHP5 and MySQL, and I already have a domain. What is an affordable way to get it online? Several people have offered amazon cloud services, but that seems like tearing my wrists apart and watching the money flow slowly. So suggestions? Hosting companies, CIA sites, anything?

Update: Many suggestions for Dreamhost. Their plan allows you to use 5 terabytes of bandwidth. Can anyone put this in perspective? For example, how much bandwidth does a site with a StackOverflow traffic type have?

I have been at HostingMatters for many years. They are relatively cheap and their service is awesome. <12 hours for any support ticket I have ever had.

In addition, since I had been with them for about ten years, they prompted me to an unfulfilled plan at no cost (with the same 10 US dollars a month I paid.) ....
