Is it safe to install SVN on a win2008 web server?

I have a web server, and now I pay for SVN hosting in a company that specializes in hosting svn.

I mean only installing SVN on my dedicated server, are there any security implications?

A small correction for the Jedi: this is VisualSVN Server from http://www.visualsvn.com/server/

I use VisualSVN Server from http://www.visualsvn.com/server/ , it is very easy to install and can be integrated with the active directory. It installs on win2008 without any problems.
