IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: geckodriver.log when running Python / Selenium

Question

Getting the following error when starting Selenium through Flask / Python

If I go directly to the application directory and run script ( python run.py), then I will not get an error.

Based on this, it seems that the log file is not written at startup through Flask, but where should the file be?

geckdriver the executable is installed in /usr/local/bin/

According to the source code, GeckoDriver starts with two default arguments executable_pathand log_path=log_pathas follows:
