I ask this question out of curiosity. I mainly use glideto upload images to imageViewby setting scaleTypeimages to centerCrop. But what I am asking is whether or not it is worth using the glide centercrop method instead of imageview scaletype? . I ask about this because, as far as I know, sliding first loads the image and then converts it to the desired shape. So I do not think that this will increase the speed of loading the image. Then where is this method useful?
My assumptions may be wrong. So please excuse me if my question is stupid or irrelevant.
