Can we transfer data from a table cell to a table, where both are xib files?

I want to transfer table cell data (xib file) to a table view (also xib file). I tried to transfer data using the following code snippet, but did not get the corresponding result.

Call a fetchData()function after the tableview delegate and data source assignment
