Fields of View in Daydream View 2017

I have doubts about the visual fields in Daydream View 2017. I tested the Unity application on both plugins: Cardboard and Daydream, and it seems that the FOV in Daydream is even narrower than in Cardboard.

According to official figures, the Daydream FOV is 100 °, but I'm sure it is not. I made a test scene with several small objects located around the camera in 5 ° increments. The plan was to check the FOV that appears on the screen and the FOV that I can really see on Google Daydream.

There is a Unity scene and a screenshot of the application:

According to the screenshot, the horizontal FOV is approximately 95 ° and the vertical FOV is almost 100 °. It's good. The problem is that I see only one pink circle on each side. I draw a red frame to illustrate the real FOV. I think it is about 70 °.

I deny that my face is so unusual and ugly that I cannot use Daydream View. To be sure that I tried my application for other people with the same result.

So my question is: is 70 ° the real FOV of Google Daydream View 2017? Or is there something wrong with the Unity Daydream plugin?

Some technical details:
