What is the recommended oem size for an Android Things product?

Creating another Android Things product with the Android Things Console, I again wondered which oem partition size to choose. The information for this parameter "Must be between 32 and 512 MB," which is enough for consideration. Although my apk file in Android Studio is only about 100 KB and fits easily into a minimum size of 32 MB. I searched the web and stackoverflow for a while, but couldn't find the right information. I believe that apk size becomes much larger if I add a lot of resources, images, etc. To my application, or am I missing something?

So I would like to know if there are any recommendations on oem partition size? Are there any disadvantages to always choosing 256M or 512M to be safe?

The size of the partition you choose should be large enough to take into account the growth of your APK over the life cycle of your product, since it cannot be resized after you begin deployment over the air (OTA).
