HTTPS for Github custom domain with AWS

I decided to switch to HTTPS for my own Github site to do this, I followed this step by step . Namely:

  • Requested for SSL in AWS Certificate Manager
  • Created CloudFront distribution
  • Changed my DNS A Alias entry for this distribution

But for some reason, when accessing christopherkade.com, the URL corresponds to the default root object that I installed in the distribution (christopherkade.com/index.html) and Firefox gives me the following error The page isn’t redirecting properlyand Chrome christopherkade.com redirected you too many times..

Here are my DNS records:

My page is hosted on this repository.

Did I forget something?
