I recently purchased Honor 8 and upgraded it to EMUI 5. When I started testing my projects, I noticed that nothing was shown on logcat, I searched and it was a common problem in Huawei smartphones that can be solved by typing *#*#2846579#*#*, then log in in the background setting → Log settings, activate the application log and restart the device.
The problem is that this method does not work in my case (nor if I do not reboot the device). I realized that this was because when I went to debug the Background, it seems to be closed, but when I click on it, it asks for a password.
Does anyone know what a password is or how can I activate ApLog?
