Vespa - How long does the Vespa process usually take for Startup to recover mmap attributes?

when writing search definitions for indexing as an “attribute” - I read from http://docs.vespa.ai/documentation/search-definitions.html that it stores fields in memory. The main question: in the event of a cluster restart, is the data in memory restored from the index?

how long does it take Vespa to restart the cluster to restore the attribute in memory? (let's say node has 2 terabytes of data, and half the fields are defined as an “attribute” - about 1 terabyte for mmap?)

Attribute data must be read from disk to memory at startup, and the time it takes depends on:

  • (, ) /.
  • ( , ..), .

, "".

vespa node mode = index 4 , . snapshot-xx/*.dat, (, mmap)

ls /opt/vespa/var/db/vespa/search/cluster.x/n0/documents/x/0.ready/
attribute documentmetastore index summary
