Does BigQuery support NUMERIC and DECIMAL data types defined in ANSI SQL 2011?

Many applications, including those related to the storage of data on money, currencies and other financial information, depend on the type of data with fixed accuracy. In SQL, they are stored in columns of types NUMERIC or DECIMAL.

BigQuery does not list NUMERIC or DECIMAL support in the documentation for these data types: https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/data-types
