Windows 10 Lock Screen - Windows Spotlight - Launch Chrome for Links

On the Windows 10 lock screen installed on Windows Spotlight, there are text box links that provide you with additional information about the image after you log in. These links automatically launch Microsoft Edge, and not my default browser, Chrome. I have searched everywhere for a solution to this problem, but to no avail.

I already set Chrome by default and linked all the file types that Chrome can open, but it opens Edge anyway. If I turn to file and protocol mapping for Edge, everything is not checked except for URL: Microsoft Edge and URL: read. This will not allow me to remove these protocols, although I have no idea if they are the culprit.

If I go to the "Select default applications by protocol" option, I won’t be able to select applications installed on my computer, but only the options are the current default application or search for an application in the store.

I had the same problem, then I finally stumbled upon EdgeDeflector . Now I can finally click on the screen lock links and they open in my favorite browser.
