How to copy part of diff diff in GitHub without pluses and minuses?

Question

Very often I need to copy and paste part of a GitHub commit. However, whenever I do this, I am in manual mode on each line and press Deleteto remove all +/- signs.

Is there a more convenient way to copy part of a GitHub transaction to the clipboard?
Suggestions related to Chrome extensions / your personal projects are welcome.

You can:

• twist diff from GitHub (without cloning the entire repo history):

  https://github.com/foo/bar/commit/${SHA}.patch
  

• pass it to sed to remove +/- :

  .... | sed -r "s/^([^-+ ]*)[-+ ]/\\1/" | less -r
