• What is the definition of daylight saving time "Overlap" and "Break"? I have a vague understanding of them, so I would like to confirm ... What does it mean to be “inside” any of them?

• What does “fix” mean for DST Gap or DST Overlap? When does it take time to fix, and when does it not need to be fixed?

The above questions are linguistic, but I have an example of their application:

3. When to call org.joda.time.LocalDateTime # correctDstTransition ?

   Correct date in case of overlapping DST. The created Date object is exactly the same as the date field, unless the time is invalid due to daylight mileage. In this case, the time will be set to the earliest allowable time after the break. In the case, daylight saving time is closed, an earlier moment is selected.
