Firefox (54.0.1 (64-bit)) DOM Inspector: Unable to select home elements after Ajax Rerender

Ever since the new DevTools came out of Firefox, I have had this problem on multi-user PCs:

  • I open a webpage and check the DOM

  • I launch an AJAX call or some DOM creation using JavaScript and put the new elements in the DOM

  • I can no longer select new elements, they are gray, not light blue. (HTML tag is sometimes selected)
  • items are displayed in the DOM inspector

gray field is not blue

I cannot find an error report or option to change this behavior. Any info on this?
