Mapping ARKit nodes relative to real objects

I am trying to draw a window that can help someone understand the size of the element, but I have a problem with the fact that since I first need to recognize the plane, when I put my physical element on top of the plane, the box is drawn in front of the item.

Is there any way to overcome this?

@John Scalo is right, your problem is not to first find the plane, but that your rendering engine does not know that part of your green window is closed (hidden) by a real object.
