I use Jenkins pipeline scripts for all of my jobs. I used the Promoted-builds plugin for other tasks, but is not compatible with Pipeline scripts. Is there an alternative ?,
The pipeline script has manual input, but this does not solve the problem, because the job is in the build queue until input is provided.
