Why not add mavenLocal () to all Android apps?

Question

When you create an Android project from scratch, Android Studio does not add mavenLocal()Gradle to the list of repositories. But we added it, and builds are now faster than ever.

Is there any reason to avoid adding mavenLocal()to every Android project that we have? I mean, are there any flaws in this?

What if you didn’t have a local repository .m2?

mavenLocal()actually adds your .m2to your Gradle repositories.
