Vagrant 1.9.6 hangs on command "tramp ssh"

Question

I have vagrant 1.9.6 and the oracle 5.1.22 virtual box installed on my system. when I ran stray and tried to switch to stray ssh on git bash, it hangs there and nothing will make it work for me.

I solved mine by adding this line export VAGRANT_PREFER_SYSTEM_BIN=1to my .bash_profilefile. You can manually create this file on Windows and put it in your home directory.
