Change your project from Google App Engine to standard

Question

I have a Java8 project that is currently configured for deployment in GAE Flexible. Now that Java8 is now available in the GAE standard, I would like to switch to this (for cost and maintenance reasons, as well as faster deployment).

Can someone tell me the settings that need to be changed? Currently visible Dev App Server does not support App Engine Flexible Environment applications.at startup mvn appengine:run. I already checked app.yaml, appengine-web.xml.
