Macros: suppose yes on the “Continue Y / N” prompts?

I am fully prepared when it comes to macports. I just started a new job, they gave me a new working laptop and a basic bash script filled with just over 20,000 ports. I am running macports 2.4.1 on OS X Sierra.

Sometimes a port wants my password, usually so that the port starts at startup. So just creating a kind of script to press y and enter again and again will not work very well.

I tried to search around, but most people are looking for methods to completely close macroblocks with dependencies, and this is not what I need, I just need to assume that I want to install all the dependencies without prompting. I'm not sure if this is what I can do with an argument or by editing a configuration file somewhere .. or something that is possible at all.

Any help is appreciated :)

Add a flag -Nto the port command, so "no interactive questions asked."

From man port:

   -N
Non-interactive mode, interactive questions are not asked
