Relationship Properties Datomic ref

I am trying to model a circuit where it listcan have many items, and everyone itemcan belong to many lists. It’s clear to me that I may have a ref type :list/itemsfor modeling relationships, but I would also like to have an attribute rankthat defines the position of an element in every list where it exists. How can I do that?

The only answer I have - provided that the positioning is list-dependent, is that you need to add an indirect object with a rank attribute. This is not very nice. It would be nice if many relationships were streamlined, as this precedent would greatly simplify.
