Test Explorer detection detected if not run as administrator in Visual Studio 2017

Question

I am running Visual Studio 2017 and Test Runner cannot detect Unit Tests if Visual Studio does not work as an administrator. Running as an administrator is nearly impossible at my new workplace.

As such...

Q: . How to get Test Explorer to detect Unit tests without an administrator?

UPDATE:
I confirmed the following ...

• POSITIVE: Unit Test project configured to build
• POSITIVE: the test project is a genuine Unit Test project (w / magic guids)
• NEGATIVE: test preview not available in VS2017 Community Edition
