Unable to resize or resize Amazon EBS Volume

Question

Cannot resize or resize Amazon EBS Volume. In us-east-1st N. Virginia. The instance to which it is connected is t2.medium CentOS 7.

Any help would be appreciated.

In the screenshot, the volume type shows standard.

This is the previous generation of magnetic volume.
