I am using v2.3.1 for Android Studio. I have a Nexus 6P device running Android 7.1.2, and I went to "Settings" → "Developer Settings" → "View GPU Profile" and turned it on adb shell dumpsys gfxinfo. Pausing and removing the GPU on the "Monitors" tab shows nothing but a timeline without data. I selected the correct device and package from the "Monitor" drop-down list. I tried killing and restarting adb. I tried restarting Android Studio and my phone. I do not understand why it does not work.
