No SqlParameter.UdtTypeName on netcoreapp1.1! How to use UDT?

This UdtTypeName property is required to read or write geography, geometry, or hierarchy. I can not find a workaround or message / information on this. Does anyone have an explanation?

This does not execute in netcoreapp1.1.

There is a problem in the dotnet corefx project referencing all the missing System.Data.SqlClient APIs and especially the UdtTypeName: https://github.com/dotnet/corefx/issues/17126
