Generate noise profile in sox:

sox noise-audio.wav -n noiseprof noise.prof

Clear the noise from the sound

sox audio.wav audio-clean.wav noisered noise.prof 0.21

Change 0.21 to adjust the sensitivity level at the sampling frequency (I found that 0.2-0.3 provides the best result).
