Talend - specify jndi as a data source

Question

I have a talend command that uses the tOracleInput component with the connection type ORACLE CUSTOM. It works well.

Now I have a requirement to use jndi as a database connection. Any ideas how this can be achieved?

The answer I came across is creating my own talent component. Since the deployment of a talent task in a separate package than the actual web application is, say, not an ideal solution in our case.
