Oracle Weblogic OAM Retrieves User Information Using Session Cookies

Oracle / WebLogic noob here. I am not sure that I am asking the right questions, but all the tips will be greatly appreciated.

We are trying to deploy an Angular 4 web application on an Oracle WebLogic server using Apache HTTP and OAM-managed security. First, the user will be redirected to the OAM login screen, and as soon as they log in, they will be redirected to the Angular application.

One of my tasks is to make userid appear in the navigation above, one of my colleagues suggested to capture information from one of the http cookies, but I could not understand where / in which cookie it is. I looked all over the place, and the only suitable cookie I found was OAMAuthnCookie, which contains the encrypted identifier of the associated session.

I do not think that this is possible without any server-side configuration, any direct answers or suggestions for completing my task will be very useful. Does WebLogic / OAM provide a web service that I can use from my Angular client application to access the user information I'm looking for?

Thanks in advance:)
