Where can I find information on how the read / write request flow in the cluster when starting from the client API?

In the Aerospike configuration doc ( http://www.aerospike.com/docs/reference/configuration ), he mentioned transaction queues, service flows, transaction flows, etc., but they are not discussed in the architecture document. I want to understand how this works, so I can configure it accordingly.
