How to implement push notifications in React Native when the application is closed

I'm learning React Native right now, and I'm trying to figure out how to enable push notifications even when the application is closed, like Facebook does.

I am a web developer, so I'm not used to the logic of the manifest of mobile applications. Where to begin? Thank!

It seems that since you are a web developer, the mobile application is not yet familiar with you. In fact, setting up a push notification will require several more official steps (differently, on iOS and Android), and after everything is set up, a push notification will occur between the Apple server (or Google server) and the smartphone OS (this iOS or Android), so push notifications will be sent to the phone no matter what (not knowing / not worrying about your application being open or closed ^^)
