I have a requirement in GA api to get some very specific types of metrics:
Site level
- Site visits using the basket Add: this number of sessions occurred during the time interval in which the basket was loaded in the session.
- Site visits with product introduction. This is the number of sessions for the period of time when a detailed presentation of the product was present in the session.
Product level
- Product Visits. How many sessions occurred from the product area. For example, sku 12345 had 200 sessions that relate to this product for a certain period of time. If this helps, Adobe Analytics is built in as a βhitβ metric that can be correlated for each product.
- Basket visits: this is how many baskets are opened (added baskets) came from the product scope. This will be directly correlated with Adobe "carts" tags, which can be correlated for each product.
Of all the studies I conducted and many tests, these four elements do not seem possible only when using correlations with metrics and dimensions. I heard that they can be used using the segment configuration configuration, but I'm not sure how they will even start to look.
