Using QWebEngineView (Qt 5.8 for Windows 10, QtCreator 4.2.2, the same problem also appears in Fedora 26) to access the HTTPS site, I always get a blank document after the download has been completed. Searching the Internet seems to be a fairly common problem, but I still have to find a solution to the problem.
I assume that I need to do something regarding SSL and / or javascript (the site I need to connect to uses javascript specifically to do everything), but I have not figured out how to do this yet.
SSL works great in other parts of the program, both on Windows and Fedora. Looking at the source of the downloaded document, it is shown that the page does not contain anything; connecting to load signals *, there is evidence that some elements are being loaded and redirects are in progress.
