Run the R Shiny app on Apache server

I have a Shiny application that I would like to run on an existing Apache server. I am completely new to servers and do not know where to start. Unfortunately, most of the resources I found on the Internet related to NGINX, not Apache.

I know this is possible, but I'm not sure how to get started. How can I start by hosting my own Shiny application on an Apache server?

So, you are not running the Shiny application on Apache, Shiny Apps should be running on the Shiny server. You have several options for deploying the Shiny application on your site. The easiest way is to publish your application on shinyapps.io, and then add an IFrame to your site, which displays the deployed Shiny application.

Since you asked how to run the Shiny application on Apache, I assume that you want to deploy your own Shiny Server, which can be deployed on the same computer as your Apache server or on another machine.
