Why do we convert to projet connection in msbi

I wanted to know the usefulness of performing conversion in connecting to a project in connection managers in ssis

You can create a new connection to the project by right-clicking on the node Connection Managers shown above,

Project-level connection managers allow you to configure project-level connection managers. This means that you can define a connection for the entire project and use it in all packages included in the project.
