We have a group of frameworks created by my team. We plan that some of these frameworks will be loosely coupled with iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and OS X applications.
So, we have a rare case when #availablity does not work for us. Our frameworks support iOS 8+, watchOS 2+, tvOS9 +, and OS X Yosemite +.
How do you do the old character checking method that we used in Objective-C but in Swift?
