SD card required to download error in Android emulator

Question

I am using Android version 2.3. Created AVD with API level 17 (Jelly bean). After that, I try to load something into the emulator, and it gives "SD card error for abc.apk loading".

I already tried a lot: I used mksdcard, tried to start the emulator from the command line, using the sdcard.img path, provided space in the studio-sdcard section. my config.ini hw.sdCard is set to yes, still having this problem.

Seek help to solve this problem.
