How can subscribers be informed that an already published item has changed?

I want to implement a very simple RSS feed for my FAQ website.

Subscribers will be informed about new questions / answers. It's great.

But the questions will have significant changes in the content from time to time (for example, when the best answer to the question will be found). Can RSS inform subscribers that such a response has changed?

If not, what could be a good workaround? I am thinking of proposing another RSS feed that only announces changes to existing issues. Is this the "right way"?

You can format the links so that they include the hash and / or ID of the last response. Thus, the links will be perceived as fresh, and if you have a custom feed reader, it can track if the link is new or has been read by the user.
