How to add emoji for comments in IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1?

When I copy emoji and paste it into my new IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1 in the comment line - it just turns gray. Here is a link from emoji http://getemoji.com/ one of them does not work

In IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1, emoji characters are displayed as color images only on Mac OS X.

On Windows and Linux, emoji appear as monochrome characters.
