SpecReporter is not a constructor error when starting a protractor using angular-cli

When I try to run a command ng e2eor direct protractor, I get this error:

this is due to the devastating change of jasmine. Modify the protractor configuration file to:

var SpecReporter = require('jasmine-spec-reporter').SpecReporter;

instead:

var SpecReporter = require('jasmine-spec-reporter');

const SpecReporter = require('jasmine-spec-reporter').SpecReporter;

jasmine.getEnv().addReporter(new SpecReporter());
