Defining a security area

I searched a lot about security areas and read a lot of documents for identity management systems such as WSO2, Keycloak, Apache Syncope, etc., but, unfortunately, I could not find the exact value of the security area.

I found that a scope is a collection of security objects, such as Users, Groups, Clients, Roles, etc., that handle all operations on these objects.

Can anyone provide me a definition for this?

thank

Think of the area as a rigid partitioning structure that allows you to repeatedly participate in one keycloak installation.
