Android Studio 2.3 does not show stacktrace exception

Question

I upgraded Android Studio from 2.2 to 2.3, and now when an exception is thrown, it does not appear at all in the Run section.

What I get is a message that says "Application completed."

Even when I arbitrarily make an exception, stacktrace does not show ...

Try turning off the device, close Android Studio and make sure that all adb instances are closed (either by closing it in the task manager or restarting the computer). It should return when you open android studio and reconnect your device.

1- Close the error message (when it appears on your phone)

2- Open the Logcat window and make sure:

* The correct device and the correct application are selected.

* In the third field, select: "Error"

* In the last field, select: "No filters"

3- Click "Reload" in the Logcat window
